Ordering & Shipping

-All orders ship out from our Buffalo, NY studio within 1-3 business days from the day they are placed. After that, depending on the selected shipping method you can expect them at your door after another 3-5 business days (for domestic orders) and 1-6 weeks (for International orders.)

Rest assured, we know that cards are often a time sensitive animal and we’ll work to get them to you as fast as possible every time. 

All domestic & international single card orders are sent in envelopes with regular USPS stamps. This is how we keep shipping fees so low. We’ve been doing this for years and have never had problems with orders arriving damaged.

 -Domestic orders for multiple cards &/ or gift items ship as either First-Class or Priority USPS packages (depending on weight,) and come with tracking numbers. They typically take 1-5 business days to arrive, depending on your location. 

-International orders for multiple cards &/ or gift items ship as First-Class International packages, which is the only economical option. They do not come with tracking numbers and can take 1-6 weeks to arrive. 

We totally get it, sometimes last-minute is a way of life. If you need your order expedited, then all you have to do is add rush shipping to your order. You should see this option listed on every product on the site. Please keep in mind that our 1-3 business day processing time still applies to orders with rush shipping added.  

We always want to help, but we process orders in the sequence they are received, and it’s not fair to jump anyone to the head of the line.

Yes! We offer this as an official service, called “Mail It For Me”. Please look for it at the bottom of every card listing on the site.

It depends. If you order a single card you will not receive a tracking number (since it is sent with stamps and not as a package.) But we do provide tracking numbers for every United States shipment that goes as a package, both First Class & Priority. Insurance is only included on priority packages.  There is no tracking for international packages.

We are happy to ship internationally, however we cannot promise that your package will arrive by a certain date. Sometimes packages are held up in customs for seemingly no reason, and transit times vary wildly. For anything bigger than a single greeting card, we ship USPS First Class International Mail, which is the only cost effective option.  There is no tracking for international orders. We are not responsible for any additional customs tariffs or charges that your country imposes on your package, nor can we predict what they might be.

Good question! We’re so glad you’re thinking proactively. For most major holidays we have a shipping cut-off date. Cut-off dates are usually in the shop announcement, or home page. We guarantee on-time delivery only if you order by our cut-off dates. If you order later we will do our best to get it to you, but no pinky promises! If you’re not sure wether your order can get to you in time, get in touch and we’ll personally walk you through your options.


Although this is a rare occurrence, don’t worry, we’ve got you! We are happy to send a replacement free of charge if your item was damaged or lost in transit or if we made a mistake and sent the wrong thing. Keep in mind that we are real people with real feelings and occasionally make mistakes.

All sales are final. Due to the difference in monitor settings between computers, we cannot accept returns for items that look different to you in person. We try our very best to represent our products as accurately as possible, using natural light and high-quality images. Thank you for understanding!

Although we would love to create the perfect card for everyone’s specific needs, our cards are printed carefully in large batches, and therefore it’s not possible to change a design (even a little bit) to sell just once.

We love custom orders but due to the time demands of our main line, we only accept them on a case-by-case basis. Please get in touch to see if we’d be a good fit for your project.


All of our cards are offset printed using 100% vegetable inks in Point Richmond, CA, USA. Our notepads are printed on recycled paper in New Mexico, and our pencils are painted, assembled and foil-stamped in Bishop, CA. All of our products are designed by us in Buffalo, NY.

All of our cards are designed using a combination of digital and analog techniques, including watercolors.
